Table Lamp LUNA Q #004

Each of our lamps is crafted meticulously by hand as a numbered, unique piece. In this model – the LUNA Q – the masterful art of steam bending combines with a striking, horizontal architecture and fine wood details to create an expressive light object.

Dynamic design and artisanal precision

The elegantly curved main arch gently surrounds the illuminated opal glass globe, bestowing the lamp with a remarkable lightness. A delightful contrast is created by the precisely set cross support: its defined, clean lines form a steadfast foundation that harmonizes perfectly with the fluid radii of the arch.

Warm wood image meets masterful ceramic art

Both the gently curved C-arch and the straight base are made of beech wood with its characteristic warm tones. They support the artistic piece of the ceramic designer Judith Anders: A wafer-thin porcelain shade with a characteristic, fine ribbed structure. Once the light is turned on, it shines through the delicate slats, creating a lively play of light and shadow and illuminating the organic texture of the material.

The colored textile cable is seamlessly guided through a fine milling in the wooden back and runs inconspicuously through a recess at the bottom of the base to the outside. Together with the elegant brass socket and the handcrafted ceramic, it creates a harmonious ensemble of traditional wood bending technique and timeless elegance.
